| We
have a number of example layouts of lettering & logo positions on a mat, click
the Layouts on Wrestling Mats Button on the right side of the page. Lettering
can be applied on both sides of the mat in any location. It's important to know
if the mat will be a one-piece or if the mat will be cut into sections (horizontal
or vertical cuts). Preferably, lettering shouldn't be located on a seam of the
mat. Click on "Sections"
in Mat Features for more information about cut configurations. Below
describes the some options and locations to apply lettering. - Facing
the Same Direction
Lettering and logos can face in the same direction. See
Example.
- Facing
Opposite Direction
If you want your audience
on opposite sides of the mat to be able to read & view logos properly, the
lettering & logos can face out. We suggest submitting a drawing/layout of how you would
like the lettering and logos to be positioned on the mat. See Example.
Left &
Right Sides of the Mat
Choose to have lettering
go vertically up and/or down the left and right sides of the mat. The vertical
lettering can be centered (See
Example) or can start at the top left edge and/or the bottom right edge
of the mat.
Top
& Bottom Sides of the Mat
Lettering can be placed horizontally
across the top and bottom edges of the mat. The lettering can be centered (See
Example), flush left, and/or flush right. Some clients have chosen
to have the letters running across the top to start at the top left corner (flush
left) and then the letters running across the bottom of the mat to start at the
bottom right corner (flush right) (See
Example). Also, lettering can be arched outside
the large circle on the top and/or bottom. See
Example.
Corners of the
Mat Lettering in the corners of the mats is
one of the most widely locations for lettering and logos. Letters can be be horizontal,
staggered,
interlocking, or angled
at 45°.
Wrestling Area
of the Mat Lettering can be arched inside the
wrestling area of the mat near the inside of the 28' or 32' wrestling circle.
See
Example. Center of the
Mat
Lettering can be applied in the center
of the mat. However, Resilite doesn't suggest putting the logos or lettering in
this location. Over time & years of use, the logos or lettering
in the center of the mat will receive wear & tear. See
Example.
Lettering
can be applied numerous ways in the center of a 10' circle. If there are more
than two words, arch the first word inside the top of the 10' circle and arch
the second word inside the bottom of the 10' circle. Stagger letters if there are two or three letters. |
