Lettering Font Styles
Standard Font Styles
Resilite offers 6 standard font/typestyle choices shown below. Typically letters are applied in all capital letters (uppercase). However, if you choose the Script font, the first letter will be a capital letter & the rest will be in lowercase letters. Arial Bold, Times New Roman Bold, & Aardvark Bold can be applied in either all capital letters or capital/lowercase letters.
If you don't choose a font/typestyle when ordering, Resilite will select the Block font as the default lettering style & apply the letters in all capital letters.

Nonstandard Font Styles
If the 6 standard fonts/typestyles shown above aren't what you had in mind, Resilite can use the font of your choosing. In order to provide lettering in a font that is not standard, Resilite needs the name of the font and a sample printout of the lettering. If Resilite does not have the font, you may need to submit the electronic font file. Click here for specific directions and requirements on nonstandard font styles.

Choosing Lettering Color Options
Letters can be painted on using three color options. Samples shown on right.
- One Color
- Standard Three-Tone Lettering: Resilite's Standard Three-Tone Letters will let the mat color show between the letter and the outline. Example: Red Letter; Black Space (mat color); White Outline
- Nonstandard Two Tone Lettering (without the space): can be applied for an additional charge above the Standard Three-Tone Lettering price. When placing order, be sure to express that you don't want the space between the letter. Example: Red Letter; White Outline
- Custom: If you have something special in mind, please submit your idea and Resilite will quote you a price.
When deciding on colors of lettering, keep in mind the color of mat where the lettering will be located. Try to pick colors so that the lettering will contrast well against the mat color. In our colors section of the web site, we give descriptions and advise for good contrasting colors.
